Katherine Humfrey is a contemporary mixed-media artist who lives in the Scottish Highlands. Born and raised in the Scottish Highlands, her work pays homage to the bountiful flora and fauna surrounding her. Her work utilizes the vibrant life of the outdoors using various mediums, from classical painting to sculpture. With experience in many mediums, she employs a wide range of skills to create her work; from mould making, photography, illustration, sculpture, painting and more, she is well equipped for many artistic ventures.

Set to graduate with her BA (Hons) this year, Katherine has already gained notice from local papers and galleries for her work in previous years. While simultaneously working with her local community to create artwork inspired by the local school, building connections and new opportunities for the future. Katherine is a nominated graduate member of the Society of Scottish Artists at the Royal Scottish Academy.
